StAR Asset Recovery Watch is a new project by the Stolen Asset Recovery (StAR) Initiative, whose mandate is to ensure that there are no safe havens for stolen assets. StAR is a partnership between the World Bank and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). 

 
StAR Asset Recovery Watch compiles, systematizes and publishes information about completed and active asset recovery efforts around the world. In so doing, StAR Asset Recovery Watch aims to help further active recovery cases and to foster policy and legal reforms in the area of international asset recovery. 
 
Users can search for specific cases, countries and individuals. The information contained in StAR Asset Recovery Watch is current as of October 2012. The StAR Asset Recovery Watch will be updated on a periodic basis. Search the Database.
Please ensure that StAR Asset Recovery Watch is as current, accurate and comprehensive as possible by sending us updated information regarding the cases currently in the Watch, as well as cases for future inclusion in it. We also welcome your comment and feedback.
